Final Fantasy Sonic X: Episode 3

Introduction: "Final Fantasy Sonic X3" is a fan-made ROM hack of the Sega Genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles. It is not an official Flash Classic game, but rather a modified cartridge ROM designed to be played on original hardware or emulators. The hack replaces the original game's story and stages with a new narrative and level layouts, often featuring custom zone names and visual palettes, though it primarily reuses the base game's sprite assets.

Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack retains the core physics and character roster of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, meaning you can play as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles with their signature abilities: the Insta-Shield, flight, and climbing/gliding respectively. The momentum-based physics, slope detection, and elemental shields are intact. The primary changes are in the level design; the hack features entirely new stage layouts for its zones, requiring different routing and exploration compared to the original game. The feel of control remains accurate to the original engine.

Key Features:

• Completely new level layouts for all zones, offering a fresh challenge for experienced players.
• A custom storyline and text, replacing the original narrative with a new adventure.
• Retained access to all Super Forms and the original game's special stages for collecting Chaos Emeralds.
