Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack is built on the "Sonic 3 Complete" engine base, offering a choice of Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles as playable characters, each with their classic abilities. The physics are the precise, momentum-based engine from the original "Sonic 3 & Knuckles", including elemental shields and the Insta-Shield for Sonic. A key new mechanic is the collection of the seven Mystic Gems, which function similarly to Chaos Emeralds but are found hidden in the main stages instead of Special Stages. Collecting them all unlocks a true ending.
