Sonic 2 Advanced Edit

Introduction: Sonic 2 Advanced Edit is a long-running Sonic the Hedgehog 2 ROM hack by Team AE. Its final major release presents seven new main zones, plus polished bonus zones originating from an older version of the project.

Gameplay & Mechanics: The playable roster includes Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles use controls based on their Sonic 3 & Knuckles-style abilities, while Amy has her own hammer attacks and movement. Boss behavior can change depending on the character being used.

• Seven new main zones with custom enemies and character-dependent boss behavior.
